I did this as a project for my Advanced Drawing class at school. We have to do a final project that's 24''x12'', so I'm basing mine either on Indian culture, or on elves/fairies/ect.

I loved how this came out; I worked on it about two hours, using a piece of paper towel to blend because I didn't have a blending cone.

Mechanical pencil and cheap art paper used.
I also used a reference, but I can't locate the original image used.


[Edit] I cleaned up the image by removing the excess pen marks; ended up showing some of the finer shading/detailing! =)

Ah, I was going to ask if you'd used a reference for the clothing- in either case, great job on the details in it! :D I love the folds in her robe, and I love how you drew her face. Slightly stylized but still realistic. =)

The shading and detail is brilliant, I really like this- takes me back to when we had to do about indian culture and fashion in textiles.

The shading and pose are very beautiful. You done this very well :heart:
I think the only problems are her legs as they are too short, her toes which need a bit more definition and her eye might need to be a little closer together.
But you have a pretty great gallery!

I totally see where you're coming from with the eye. It's way too far away from the nose/other eye.

I definately put a lot of time and effort into this. :D
And I've been fine-tuning the original every now and again, to define the folds better.
